Fluor Corp. (NYSE:FLR) Thursday presented a $100,000 grant to the
University of Florida at a meeting between company and university
officials.
The financial contribution will be used for the expansion of the Rinker
School of Building Construction. The expansion, named the Fluor Program
for Construction Safety, will house the School of Safety and Loss
Control.

J. Robert Fluor II, vice president of corporate and public affairs. "The
University of Florida is one of the Fluor Foundation's 10 target
universities with highly regarded engineering and business graduate
schools.

The grant also reinforces Fluor's lengthy and recognized commitment to
safety in engineering, construction, maintenance and global services. As
